My arc

I thrive on helping awesome people and companies dream big and surprise themselves with what is possible.

20 years of experience leading data science & analytics teams for high-growth companies

I’ve always been fascinated by human behavior, especially how we make decisions. This led me to study History while getting my BA at Dartmouth College, pursue a Masters in Library and Information Science with the University of Washington, and build a 20 year career in data science and analytics with high-growth companies. I worked with a wide variety of brands and industries, and for the past 10 years managed organizations of up to 35 for companies like Nike, Meta, and Betterment. In all of my leadership roles, I was responsible for starting or reimagining a team to accelerate the company’s growth by improving the customer experience. I now have a solid playbook for how to not only build and grow teams, but also lead change, build a data-driven culture, and drive growth at a corporate level.

I’m a dreamer and I love helping people set - and crush - ambitious goals

Though I enjoyed quantitative puzzles, I found over the years that I was most drawn to the human puzzles. How to influence people, create win-win scenarios, and perhaps most of all, to help my colleagues and direct reports articulate their most audacious goals - and go for them. It was the greatest gift to see people achieve more than they ever thought possible. I therefore focused on developing my coaching skillset throughout my management career and was fortunate enough to work for companies that provided great opportunities for formal training as well as mentorship.

I derive resilience and confidence while managing stress through sport

In parallel, I’m a life-long athlete and I found that aggressive athletic goals helped me to structure my time, build and sustain confidence and endurance, and feel connected to like-minded people outside of work. In the past 10 years, I have completed two full-distance IRONMAN triathlons, numerous half-distance IRONMANs, countless marathons and half marathons, and three AIDS LifeCycle rides (a week-long 545-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco, CA to Los Angeles, CA to raise money and awareness for AIDS/HIV resources). I am deeply passionate about sports and fitness and their power to structure and fuel one’s life. I’ve served on the board of my triathlon club, volunteered for AIDS LifeCycle, and started Facebook’s first AIDS LifeCycle team. I also am certified as a personal trainer, nutrition coach, and yoga instructor.

I believe in the power of humility, compassion, and connection and seek to cultivate these qualities in myself through a deeply personal spiritual practice

In my adult life, I have also increasingly valued carving out time for spiritual development. I was raised without religion, and am not a follower of any particular creed. I have spent time studying multiple religions and appreciate the freedom to utilize what resonates with me across Eastern and Western beliefs and cultures. I’m currently focused on deepening my understanding and practice of love - for oneself, others, humanity, and the world. Relatedly, I was certified as a Reiki practitioner in 2022.

I aim to make my dreams a reality so I can help others do the same

Also in 2022, I chose for a variety of reasons to leave the corporate world and began building my own coaching and consulting business. I invested heavily in coaching training and development, completing 108 hours of CoActive Training Institute’s Coach Training Program followed by a rigorous six-month program to become a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). Upon completion this summer, I will also be certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. I do best with clients who want help redefining success and fulfillment on their terms so they can then live into their dreams. I also consult and advise companies on data science, analytics, and strategy.

As may be clear already, I thrive on adventure and novelty, and also enjoy travel, food, the arts, and things that go fast (e.g. motorcycles, airplanes, cars). For my 40th birthday last year, I booked a trip to Egypt somewhat on a whim. This turned out to be a life-changing event in many ways. Typically, one of the things that I love about travel is that I miss home by the end of the trip and return home with a renewed appreciation for my home. This 3.5-week trip to Egypt, however, was the first time that I felt I was leaving my heart behind when I boarded the flight back to the US. Within a few weeks, I booked a second trip to Egypt and spent the month of January 2024 there. Though I had hoped that would “scratch the itch,” I instead deepened my connections, relationships and love for the country and its people. A variety of life circumstances were such that I was able three months later to make a dream of moving to Egypt happen.

I now live in Cairo with my husband and my cat, where I continue to work as a coach and consultant while learning Arabic, building my community, experiencing Egypt, and pursuing fitness and health goals.
